  Fantastc location. Spacious comfortable and wee fitted out rooms. Homely yet understated period chic decore. Lovely meals. Fully recommend for a romantic or family getaway experiences in a remote but historic location

  The Walhalla Star Hotel is very nice. One of the staff member told us to come back at 2pm to check in. The front door was locked. He then yelled at us because we rang the bell twice. He then had a really bad attitude showing us through to our room. He acts and looks unprofessional. The rooms are clean but you need to go out to the hallway to make coffee. There is only one key given for the room so that makes it hard if one person goes out because its needed to run the lights. Over priced for what it is. I can't see why it has such a high star rating. It really needs to get rid of that staff member.

  Fantastic service and clean rooms. This is a rebuilt hotel based on the historical Walhalla's Star Hotel. It seems like it's the only building with a tiny bit of Telstra Mobile Service in the whole of Walhalla (still very weak though).
